Box Office – Hate Story 3 And Tamasha – The Final Numbers

With no competition whatsoever at the Box Office, Hate Story 3 enjoyed a good second week at the Box Office. The film continued to bring in audience and has now accumulated 53.5 crore. Since Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale have taken over practically all the screens across the country where Hindi films are shown, it can well be assumed that the film would conclude its run around the 55 crore mark. This brings the film to a Superhit status. Moreover, the genre of the film is such that it would continue to see re-runs across smaller towns in years to come, hence bringing in little money for its makers consistently.

Tamasha too has ended its run and has just managed to scrape past the Rockstar total of 67.5 crore. With 68 crore in its kitty, the film has ended its run in three weeks. There is good moolah that has come in from overseas though with around 31 crore coming in, hence ensuring that in an overall tally, the worldwide collections of the Imtiaz Ali film would be around 100 crore.
