After having a low start, Bombay Velvet crashed even more on Monday. The film collected less than half of its first day collections and the performance over the first four days has been extremely poor. The film collected merely 2.10 crores on its fourth day and now stands with a collection of 18.20 crores at the domestic box office.
The Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer is experiencing extremely low footfalls in the multiplexes. The urban niche genre of the film made it difficult to survive at the single screens.
Also since the music of Bombay Velvet is quite situational for the film, it has not helped the film in terms of creating business. The film hit a rocky road on its first weekend itself and it will result in huge losses for all involved.
