In Indian rupees, it equals a solid 8.26 crores, as per the current currency rate. This is an all-time record collection for an Indian re-release in the territory. Out of this total, the USA contributed $901K and Canada contributed $32K.

Speaking language-wise, the Telugu version contributed the biggest chunk of business with $867K, which is understandable considering the significant Telugu diaspora in the USA. The Hindi version contributed $64K. The Tamil version contributed $2K, followed by Malayalam’s $100.
