Raid had yet another stable day at the Box Office as 5.76 crores came in. The fall from Friday (10.04 crore) is still less than 50% and that is a good as it pretty much reflects that the film has been accepted by the audiences.

In the process, the film has also crossed the 50 crore mark as it stands at 53.03 crores. The first week should now come quite close to 65 crores which would take it quite close to the lifetime total of Special 26, which had a similar theme though narrated in a much light-hearted way.

Box Office - Ajay Devgn's Raid continues to rake in good numbers, set to go past Drishyam soon
Ajay Devgn’s Raid Crosses The 50 Crore Mark At The Indian Box Office!

The Ajay Devgn’s last serious film was Drishyam and that had a lifetime number of 77 crores. That should be surpassed by Raid before the close of the second weekend.

For director Raj Kumar Gupta, the film’s success has proven to be a shot in the arm after the underperformance of Ghanchakkar.

Meanwhile, the good run of Raid has curtailed the innings of all other Hindi films that were playing in theaters. The only film which is still finding audience though is Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which has already gone past the 100 crore mark but still bringing in audiences at the limited number of screens where it is playing.

*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
