2 States Has A Decent 4th Friday, 100 Crore At Vicinity | Box Office

2 States currently in its 4th week kept up its positive streak and continued to perform well. The film which collected 1 Crore on its fourth Friday is now closer to the mammoth 100 crore. With this, the film is now only a crore less, stands with a total of 99 crores at the domestic box office. It is the second highest grosser of 2014 till date.

This Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer had no competition since last week’s releases, Puraani Jeans and Kya Dilli Kya Lahore performed miserably at the box office. Also the Hollywood superhero flick could not stand well against this romantic saga based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel 2 Staes which had an amazing positive word of mouth since its opening day.  The film which has already entered the superhit league of 2014 is just a jump away from enytering teh coveted 100 crore club.

There are no second thoughts on 2 States making a business of 100 crores as its stands only a crore less before its 4th weekend. The film will doing a decent business over this weekend too even though there are as many as six new releases. Whether it will stay in competition to be 2014’s highest grosser with Jai Ho is what we need to see.
