The film currently stands at 87.31 crores‘ total in the domestic market and has accumulated another 21.50 crores gross from overseas. With that the film’s cumulative total stands at 108.81 crores worldwide.
Made on a modest budget, the film’s great performance is mainly because of the warm and lovable nature of Bhagat’s novel which was the source for the film’s screenplay. The film has a decent chance of crossing 100 crores at the domestic box office alone, if it maintains its stable income through the week.
