Mumbai Mirror‘s director Ankush Bhatt says they had earlier cast Mallika Sherawat in the role of a bar dancer in the film. However, the actress was not happy with the script and that’s when they decided to let her leave the project.

Mumbai Mirror is a cop-drama film, which with its unique screenplay also manages to fall in the genres of suspense and action. The protagonist of the film is Abhijeet Patil played by Sachiin Joshi, a police officer; and the film revolves around the rise and falls of his life.
