Why Hrithik Backed Out From Thug? Know The Reason Here

Recently Aamir Khan replaced Hrithik Roshan in YRF’s next action thriller Thug. Rumours had it that Hrithik backed out of the movie due to script issues. But now according to the recent development HR backed out from the film, since the makers had refused to pay him 60 crore which he was asking for doing Thug.

A close source to the film revealed to a leading daily that Hrithik was asking for a big amount of 60 crore which was felt too high by Aditya Chopra. They tried to negotiate with Hrithik but things did not go well and hence they parted ways.

The source further added that big stars like Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir Khan have a reasonable take-home and even have a profit-sharing agreement with production houses. However, Hrithik did not desire that but wanted a huge amount of 60 crores.

Profit sharing means that the actor might not make major amount if his movie fails to work at the Box Office and hence Hrithik found it risky and hence he wanted to take a flat free amount home. He informed further.

Thug is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and the movie will be based on a book ‘Confessions of a Thug’. It is expected to go on floors by mid-2017.
