Varun Dhawan Turned Down Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’?

According to the recent buzz, Varun Dhawan was supposed to be the part of the Hindi adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Half Girlfriend‘ which is to be directed by Mohit Suri & produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures.

But now Varun denies being approached by the director or producer for this film, says a report. The reason behind this might be, that Varun Dhawan doesn’t want other actors to get uncomfortable about being the second choice for the film.

We hear, Varun & Mohit had a meeting to discuss this project few months ago. This project really excited Varun Dhawan but after a point he politely declined the offer as he doesn’t want to play stereotypical roles.

Currently Varun Dhawan is busy with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale‘ which also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol & Kriti Sanon which is set to release on 18th December 2015.
