Shah Rukh Khan has left fans waiting in anticipation till date. The superstar was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. We all know how it all went and led for SRK to take a break. He wanted to rejuvenate and asked fans to stop speculating his next. Till date, there has been no official announcement but just rumours. The latest includes Siddharth Anand’s Pathan.
Previously, we’d heard about Rajkumar Hirani, Atlee Kumar, Raj & DK approaching SRK for his next. It is till date rumoured that the 3 Idiots director’s film is happening. As for Atlee, some improvements were in process. However, amidst it all, making the most noise currently is WAR director Siddharth Anand’s next.
Gossip mill now has it that John Abraham will be a part of Pathan too. The film will witness Shah Rukh Khan and John pitted against each other. Since the film is a big-budget actioner, we can only imagine the blockbuster it is already screaming for itself!
Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan may be announced as a part of #YRFProject50. Next month, Yash Chopra’s 88th birth anniversary will be celebrated. Owing to the same, YRF has been planning some big announcements. Head honcho Aditya Chopra is planning SRK-Siddharth Anand’s film as a surprise package under it as well.
Previously, a source close to Pinkvilla had revealed that Deepika Padukone will be a part of Pathan too.
“Deepika has locked her dates for a big YRF film. She will mostly be romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand’s big actioner. The production house has been in talks with the actress for the film but she is yet to sign on the dotted line. Also, because of the COVID-19 scare around the country, they are yet to lock in dates for the schedules of the film. Once that is done, Deepika will work around her date schedule for the film. Right now, she has just been approached for the film and she has liked the script as well. It’s a powerful role for the female lead as well,” revealed their source.
