Sanjay Dutt Biopic Starring Ranbir Kapoor’s Release Date Announced

The ambitious Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor, will be a Christmas 2017 release, announced the makers today. The biopic’s shooting, that will be helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, begins this September.

The movie will also see Ranbir working with Hirani for the first time, though the actor did have a special appearance as an alien in PK, which released in 2014.

While Raju Hirani has already begun work on the project as he held a camera and shot the footage of Sanjay walking out of jail. It’s likely that the footage will make it to the movie.
