Salman Khan is back as the host for popular reality show Bigg Boss’ Season 10. The actor who has been associated with Coca Cola’s Thums Up, will no longer be the brand ambassador for the product thanks to his show.
Considering Bigg Boss has been sponsored by a brand that competes with Coca Cola, the company has now decided to drop Salman and will not be renewing his contract.
A statement has been released by the brand stating that Salman Khan was committed to an existing relationship with a daily TV show, which this year happens to be sponsored by a brand that competes with the Coca-Cola India product portfolio. In light of this, both parties have mutually decided not to renew their current contract.
The tenth season of Bigg Boss is being sponsored by Appy Fizz of Parle Agro products.
Buzz is that the beverage giant is now planning to hire livewire Ranveer Singh, to replace Salman.
