“I was little ahead of time in being multi-talented” – Sophie Choudry

Video Jockey (VJ)-turned-singer-turned actress Sophie Choudry, who recently launched her single Hungama Ho Gaya, feels that she has been “a little ahead of time” in being multi-talented.

Sophie expects her album to be chartbuster soon. Talking about being a multi-talented artist, she says, “Six years back, when I was a number one VJ, my song Ek Pardesi was a hit number, Pyaar Ke Side Effects was a superhit. I was a singer, actress and a VJ then. Naturally, people used to ask me which (profession) would I choose as I manage to do everything well. But now-a-days we see Farhan Akhtar and Ayushmann Khurrana and so many others who are celebrated for being multitalented. So, I think may be I was a little ahead of time.”

The event was a grand affair with Bollywood celebs like Tusshar Kapoor, Harman Baweja, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, music director duo Vishal-Shekhar attending it. Actress Preity Zinta also graced the event by launching the single Hungama Ho Gaya.
