The actress, who famously walked out of Gabbar citing date issues sparked off the news that she is not comfortable working with senior actors. Gabbar finally wrapped up with Akshay starring opposite Shruti Haasan.
In an interview with Shraddha Kapoor recently, when we asked her she replied, “I have no idea where has that come from. That is all rubbish. It’s such nonsense! I have no clue which mad person has gone and said this to who. And the person who has listened has also madly written it. I really don’t know where this one has come out from.”
On being asked whether she is open to working with the big league actors like the Khans, Shraddha said, “I am actually just taking up the opportunities that are coming my way. I was actually supposed to do Gabbar with Akshay Kumar but it did not work out because of my dates. I want to do a movie with Shah Rukh Khan and a movie with Aamir Khan. Such films are just not coming to me actually. I am only getting films with younger actors only, which I am extremely happy about. But I am definitely looking forward to working with them. Some mad person had no kaam dhanda on one day and has gone and written this.”
For now Shraddha is content working with co-actors like Sidharth Malhotra and that has been working wonders. Their irresistible chemistry is getting the film massive hype. Directed by Mohit Suri, Ek Villain is all set to hit the theaters on 27th June.
