Emraan Hashmi With A Paunch & Bucktooth In Shanghai

Giving a rest to his usual lover boy/gangster image, Emraan has put on weight, stained his teeth and changed his gait for this Dibakar Banerjee film. As director Dibakar wanted Emraan to play a role of a small town boy, a street smart character in the movie, Emraan had to grow a paunch. Sporting a bucktooth, he gorged on pasta on the sets to get the look.

Talking about Emraan and his transformation for the film, Dibakar says, “His character in the movie is such that he is always on the lookout to make money and once in a while does underground night shoots. If he sees a girl, he will talk to her into getting a photoshoot done. Actually, he is a very lovable character with tremendous depth.”
