A quick-fire wedding, flurry of celebrations and an impromptu holiday later, Mr. and Mrs. Khan are back to work. As promised by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, professional commitments have taken centre-stage and they are not letting their marital status make even a wee bit difference to that.
“As we talk, Kareena is dancing away like there is no tomorrow for the song ‘Fevicol’. She had promised Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan that she would be there for Dabangg 2 and the way she is conducting herself on sets, there is no ‘begum’ aura that she is bringing along. She may be the wife of a Nawab but when it comes to Bollywood, she is the same old Kareena that has made her a hot favourite,” informs a senior crew member.
In fact Farah Khan, who is choreographing the song, can’t stop singing praises about her and even spoke about her on Twitter. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan is back in action as well with his biggest film till date, Race 2, all set to be first major release of 2013.
“This is Saif’s first sequel and he is obviously excited,” says a source, “The film releases around Republic Day weekend and is aiming at being a huge commercial success. Though there are over two months left for that, the promotion has already begun. Saif has huge plans of making the film his biggest ever. He is back with a bang after ‘Cocktail‘ and what better way to consolidate on the success by bringing the sequel of a superhit film.”
This means that while Kareena dances away to glory, hubby Saif is also indulging himself in the most minute details of Race 2 to ensure that it takes a head start.
A long honeymoon can wait till then for Mr. and Mrs. Khan.
