Amitabh Bachchan, who was criticized in the media on his remarks against the editing of son Abhishek Bachchan’s Raavan, seems to be appeasing the media now. “I must be said this press conference was one the best that I attended and I wish to compliment the entire media for their presence and the warmth that they expressed,” Amitabh wrote on his blog bigb.bigadda.com. Complementing the media for “making his day, night and year”, Amitabh accepted that since KBC had started, “his world had changed”.
“The Channel and all the crew had set up the evening of its first broadcast at the studio where the set was constructed, and had wanted all of us to witness it, to be followed by a celebration. I had declined. I was scared and nervous not knowing what the public would have to say about the show, about my involvement and its eventual result,” said Amitabh, talking about the first time KBC was telecast, way back in 2000. Incidentally, the show has shifted hands from Star Plus to Sony Entertainment Television in its fourth season. Shah Rukh Khan had hosted the third season of KBC.
