The Akshay Kumar starrer Rowdy Rathore is slated to hit theatres on 1 June 2012.
The film, directed by Prabu Devaa, is being jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sonakshi Sinha is paired opposite Akki in the film. Rowdy Rathore is a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu, which was also remade in Tamil as Siruthai. Sajid-Wajid will give the music for the film.
