As per the promos of Shamitabh it comes across a movie to cater multiplex audience and will see a decent business. Also the actor director duo of Amitabh Bachchan and R. Balki will be a driving force.

I think, it is the director, R. Balki that will make difference. The combination of Amitabh Bachchan and R. Balki has proved to be successful with films like Cheeni Kum and Paa, so this could be the only crowd puller, and will be appreciated more in Multiplexes. The movie will do very well in the metro cities.

I think Shamitabh will start slow but will pick up over the weekend. All the movies of Balki have performed in the same pattern, be it Cheeni Kum or Paa. The look and feel of the movie is very good with Amithabh and Dhanush in it. Now how well does it pick up and perform will depend on the content of the film.
