Thalapathy Vijay has been enjoying enormous success with Leo Box Office, and the actor has decided to not sit back and enjoy this success. In fact, he has already moved on to his next film within 7 days of the release of his last film. As Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film still enjoys box office dominance, the actor has moved on to Thalapathy 68.
The untitled has started on a high note with a Pada Pooja on Dussehra. Written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film is based on the Time Travel concept. The audio rights of the film have already bagged a phenomenal deal.
The musical, helmed by music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, has sold the audio rights as high as 22 crore, as reported by Track Tollywood, and the deal has been bagged by T-Series. This is a record-breaking number, considering the audio rights for Leo were sold to Sony Music at a much lower cost.

Leo’s audio was sold to Sony Music at 18 crore. Music in the Tamil thriller was done by Anirudh Ravichander, and songs for the film Naa Ready and Badass were received well. While the former has around 5.3 million views in 4 days, after a lyrical video of the song starring Thalapathy Vijay was released on the official YouTube channel of Soy Music South, Bada*s was included in the top #25 music videos and garnered around 35 million views.
Now, Thalapathy 68 is ready to create a riot with its musical numbers, and considering that the rights have been sold to T series at a whopping 22 crore, the Beast actor will definitely grab the top spots on most of the streaming platforms from the songs of the film.
Interestingly, Vijay’s Pongal release Varisu, which dropped in theatres in January 2023, also sold its audio rights to T-Series, and the price of this deal was only 10 crore, as reported by News 18. While Thee Thalapathy, sung by Simbu, was an instant hit, Ranjithame also grabbed attention. The music of the film was done by S Thaman.
Ranjithame currently has 221 million views on YouTube, while Thee Thalapathy has more than 100 million views. Now, it is evident that the cast and crew of Thalapathy 68 will leave no stone to make the music of the film a riot.
