Things aren’t going well for Tiger Shroff at the box office in the post-pandemic era. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the action star had big openers under his kitty and even emerged as a rising crowd-puller in Bollywood. Now, he’s on a poor run and his latest release, Ganapath, has turned out to be a disaster of epic proportions. Keep reading to know where the film’s worldwide collection stands!
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the dystopian action film is mounted on a huge budget, but the exact figure is known yet. Apart from Tiger Shroff, it also stars Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles. Released on 20th October, the film opened to poor reviews from critics, and even the audience didn’t show any interest right from its opening day.
Ganapath emerged as the lowest opener in Tiger Shroff’s career, staying much below the opening day of his debut film Heropanti. It was a huge shocker in itself, and it was very clear that the audience would be brutal about this film. It seemed that people were not at all interested in this biggie and wouldn’t give it any chance to shine.

Despite no major competition, Ganapath added just 6.50 crores net at the Indian box office during its opening weekend. It was a disheartening number to see, but the worst was on Monday when only 1.25 crores came in. On Tuesday, a Dussehra holiday, the film was expected to show a jump, but that didn’t happen.
After earning 1.25 crores on Monday, Ganapath earned just 1.30 crores on Tuesday, i.e., day 5. And as festivities are over, the film will now go down from here, and it’s game over!
After a poor theatrical run in the first five days, the Tiger Shroff starrer stands at 9 crores net at the Indian box office, which equals 10.62 crores gross. Overseas too, it’s a disaster and has earned just 2 crores gross so far. On the whole, the worldwide collection stands at 12.62 crores gross, speaking volumes about the film being a complete washout.
This Friday, Ganapath will suffer a massive reduction in shows all across the country, making it wrap up its worldwide run below the mark of 20 crores gross.
