After weeks and weeks of the feud with former universal champion Seth Rollins, WWE star Rey Mysterio finally got his hands on the self-proclaimed ‘Monday Night Messiah’. The duo went one on one against each other at pay per view event Extreme Rules in a strange and first-ever ‘Eye For An Eye’ Match. The match had the WWE Universe in taking as both the competitors gave their best and pushed each other to their limits.
However, despite his best efforts and high flying moves, WWE star Rey Mysterio tasted the loss, as Seth Rollins won the match by thrusting the former’s right eye at the edge of steel steps of the ring. A series of pictures has been going viral on the Internet amid WWE fans where one gets to see Rey laid next to the steel steps with his mask still on and right hand covering the right side of his face with his ‘eyeball’ in his hand.
However, with the final results, especially with Rey Mysterio ‘losing eye’, had the following reactions from the WWE fans.
