It’s raining endorsements for Bollywood. Close on the heels of Aamir Khan’s mega deal for a telecom company and Salman Khan’s endorsement of Active Wheel comes the news that Abhishek Bachchan will now be endorsing Videocon’s direct-to-home service, D2h.

An enthusiastic Abhishek even tweeted about this on March 9, “Just back from a press conference announcing me as the brand ambassador for Videocon D2h. It’s gonna become the new way to watch TV.”

However, the Bachchan scion faces a stiff fight in this category from Shah Rukh Khan who endorses competitive brand DishTV. Ironically, SRK has been endorsing the consumer electronics division of Videocon for many years.
