Rasika Dugal Opens Up About Mirzapur 2’s Release Date But It Hardly Helps

While the buzz around Mirzapur 2 is huge, the makers of Mirzapur are keeping tight-lipped up about the release date. Be it the social media posts of Amazon Prime or anyone among the star cast, one question is being asked – “When will Mirzapur 2 release?”

Recently Netflix & Prime Video also had a fun banter on Instagram regarding the same but the release date still remained a mystery. Now Rasika Dugal who played Kaleen Bhaiyya’s (Pankaj Tripathi) wife Beena in the show has come out and talked about the release date.

Although she also has only one thing to say that she doesn’t know when the second season is coming.

Rasika took to Instagram and shared a throwback pic with Pankaj from the sets of Mirzapur. The caption read as saying, “#Throwback to #Akhanda and #Beena….and the ever ominous #tripathihouse. @pankajtripathi @yehhaimirzapur @primevideoin

Meanwhile, the UK schedule of Rasika’s upcoming film Lord Curzon Ki Haveli has been postponed due to ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic.

Talking about the same, director Anshuman Jhan told IANS, “We were to fly out on March 16 and begin shoot between March 21 to April 10 at Kent but given the current scenario we don’t wish to put anyone at risk. And therefore we are postponing the shoot.”

“It’s a hard decision but the most sensible one at this time. And I wish everyone stays safe and healthy,” he added.

Anshuman is making his directorial debut with the film which also stars Arjun Mathur & Tannishtha Chatterjee.
