Mahesh Babu On Coronavirus Pandemic: “Stay Indoors & Make Most Of This Phase…”

Tollywood heartthrob Mahesh Babu is currently on a break making sure to spend quality time with his family before the shoot of his next. Early today the Telugu superstar took to his Instagram account to share an important message regarding Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Maharshi actor wrote, “Social distancing is the need of the hour!! It’s a tough call but we need to make it. This is time to sacrifice our social life and prioritize public safety. Stay indoors as much as you can and make the most of this phase with your family and loved ones. This will keep the virus from spreading and save many lives.”

“Ensure you wash your hands frequently and keep your environment clean. Use hand sanitizers as much as possible, use masks only if you think you are sick… Let’s continue to follow all the necessary steps until this passes. We are in it together and we will see this through… Let’s beat #COVID19 together” added Mahesh.

Before Mahesh Babu, Tollywood superstars Prabhas, Ram Charan and Jr.NTR had asked their fans and followers not to panic and to take necessary precautions to keep themselves clean, hygienic, and hydrated.

On the work front, as per reports, Mahesh has been signed for an extended cameo in megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya.

The buzz is, Mahesh in the social drama will be playing a fierce student leader, whereas Chiranjeevi will be donning the role of a Naxalite.

However, an official confirmation about the characters is yet to be confirmed by the makers.

Acharya is being helmed by filmmaker Kortala Siva.
