Daughter of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Vismaya made her film debut in Thudakkam, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. The film, which received a positive response in theaters, is now heading to the digital platform. The Malayalam drama follows a young woman whose life takes an unexpected turn after a crisis.

Thudakkam will start streaming on JioHotstar from September 18, 2026. The film will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, giving it a wider reach across different language audiences.

Thudakkam Plot

Set against the backdrop of a picturesque hill village, Thudakkam tells the story of Meenu, a young woman who leads a happy life with her father. When an unexpected crisis turns her world upside down, Meenu is forced to confront it with courage and determination. Her fight for survival forms the heart of the film.

Thudakkam Cast & Crew

Vismaya Mohanlal leads the cast, and along with her, the film features Ashish Joe Antony, Sai Kumar, Chippy Renjith, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Manoj K. Jayan, Jaffer Idukki, Bobby Kurian, Kottayam Ramesh, Miya George, and Dinesh Prabhakar in prominent roles. Mohanlal also makes a special appearance in the film.

The film is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, who has also written it with Akhil Krishna and Lineesh Nellikkal. Jomon T. John has handled the cinematography, while Chaman Chakko is the editor. The music has been composed by Jakes Bejoy. Antony Perumbavoor has produced the project under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner.
