Shashank Singh’s undefeated 61-run knock led the Punjab Kings (PBKS) to their second IPL triumph of 2024. Following the stunning knock, Punjab Kings owner Preity G Zinta posted a photo with Shashank Singh, praising the batter for his optimistic approach and incredible enthusiasm. Preity G Zinta praised Shashank Singh for standing up to adversity.
She also opened up about the confusion at the auction and cleared up everything, “Today seems like the perfect day to finally talk about things that were said in the past about us at the auction. Many people in similar situations would have lost confidence, buckled under pressure, or become de-motivated ……. but not Shashank! He is not like a lot of people. He is truly special. Not just because of his skill as a player but because of his positive attitude & incredible spirit. He took all the comments, jokes, and brickbats so sportingly & never became a victim”, said in a post on X.

Zinta’s team has played four matches yet, winning two out of four. The team won the game against Delhi Capitals by four Wickets and again against Gujarat Titans by three.
