Punjab Kings defeated Gujarat Titans in a thrilling game yesterday; the big star of the match was Chattisgarh’s Shashank Singh. The baller made news last time when he was picked by Preity Zinta’a team by ‘accident.’ Now, Zinta is opening up about all the confusion and Shashank’s outstanding performance in the match.
Punjab Kings, led by skipper Shikhar Dhawan, have maintained a good balance in the league. All eyes were on Punjab Kings to see if they would score against Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Kings, and they smashed it out of the park with a run chase of 200.

She also opened up about the confusion at the auction and cleared up everything, “Today seems like the perfect day to finally talk about things that were said in the past about us at the auction. Many people in similar situations would have lost confidence, buckled under pressure, or become de-motivated ……. but not Shashank! He is not like a lot of people. He is truly special. Not just because of his skill as a player but because of his positive attitude & incredible spirit. He took all the comments, jokes, and brickbats so sportingly & never became a victim”, said in a post on X.

She continued to say that people should use Shashank as an example and that he should have her respect.
Zinta’s team has played four matches yet, winning two out of four. The team won the game against Delhi Capitals by four Wickets and again against Gujarat Titans by three.
