There are only a few legends in the field of arts, who are irreplaceable and late Michael Jackson is one of them. Keeping aside the controversial side, the performer has unprecedented success and fame to his name.
In today’s piece, we’ll be taking a look back at his highly popular, Bad World Tour. The tour minted some huge returns and also went into the books of Guinness World Records. The tour which comprised of 123 concerts was in the run for almost 16 months. It made a record for being a largest attended tour.
The Michael Jackson aka King Of Pop led Bad World Tour took place in 15 different countries with an attendance of 4.4 million fans. It kick-started from Japan, where it performed beyond the expectations. It also emerged as the highest-grossing tour ever after Pink Floyd’s Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour. It made a whopping a sum of $125 millions. Isn’t that amazing?

Meanwhile, recently we even relished the anecdote which showed Michael Jackson‘s love for Indian food. Once, the King Of Pop had tasted Saag Paneer and Aloo Gobhi in Scotland’s Glasgow. The same was shared by star chef Raj Bajwe.
Known as Indian curry king, Bajwe had shared his beautiful memories with Michael Jackson back in 2010. It was the occasion of discussion on ‘Tikka Picture: Eat It’, a book which is written by Bajwe. He particularly shared his experience of serving Jackson with Aloo Gobhi and Saag Paneer in Glasgow during 1970.
While speaking to PTI, he had even revealed that Jackson paid 2000 pounds to him and his staff. Bajwe and the co. were invited to London to cook his favourite ‘saag paneer’ and ‘aloo gobhi’ in 2004.
