Sydney Sweeney is probably going through a bittersweet phase in her life. On the one hand, her film Anyone But You with Glen Powell impressed the fans, but on the other, her Madame Web has been a disaster. The actress made her Saturday Night Live debut. She is winning with her fun take on the Dakota Johnson-led film’s box office failure. Scroll below for more.

Sweeney gained recognition for her performances in Euphoria and the White Lotus season 1. Her off-screen chemistry with co-star Glen sparked romance rumors and spread like wildfire on social media last year. However, Sydney is very much in love, just not with the Top Gun: Maverick star. The rumors died down, but their fantastic friendship was visible in every event they attended together.

The Madame Web star, dressed in a plunging white body-hugging dress, hosted the popular show SNL. Sweeney was a sport during her monologue and did not even spare her own film from the satire. She took a fun jibe at the Marvel movie and said, “I am so happy to be here. My name is Sydney Sweeney. You might have seen me in Anyone But You or Euphoria. You definitely did not see me in Madame Web.” The video clip from that segment has gone viral on social media platform X.
