The US is currently suffering from a new peak of COVID-19 and many celebs have got infected by the virus. Ellen DeGeneres is the latest one who has survived the infection.
The popular host and comedian recently took to Twitter and shared a video of her with fans. In the video, she can be seen sitting on a couch and giving the fans her health update.

Ellen starts with thanking her wellwishers and says that she feels 100% and really good now. She also informs that one symptom of COVID-19 that most people are unaware of is ‘excruciating back pain’ and it has been very bad for her. Take a look at the video below:
Earlier informing her fans about testing COVID-19 positive, Ellen DeGeneres shared a note on Instagram. She wrote, “Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines,”

“I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe. Love, Ellen,” she added.
As per People, after Ellen tested positive, production on her talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show was paused until her recovery. The Ellen DeGeneres Show was filming without an in-studio audience and with a mix of virtual and in-person celebrity guests since season 18 premiered in September.

A spokesperson for production company Telepictures told People, “Following Ellen’s announcement this morning; we have paused production on the Ellen DeGeneres Show until January.”

Recently there were also reports that the show is losing advertisers and struggling to book A-list celebrities. A current employee from the show had revealed to the BuzzFeed News that its digital content has fewer advertisers and sponsors as compared to previous seasons of the show.
