Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the much-awaited movies of 2024. With the film, the mutants officially become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The Shawn Levy directorial stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as James “Logan” Howlett/Wolverine, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Leslie Uggams as Blind AI, Karan Soni as Dopinder and Matthew Macfadyen as Paradox. Emma Corrin plays the villain in the film.
No one knows the exact plot of the movie Deadpool 3. However, the teaser-trailer hinted at the multiversal adventure. There’s a reason why Wade Wilson caught the Time Variance Authority’s (TVA) attention. After all, if you meddle with timelines, you have to pay the price and we’ve seen that in Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. While it would be interesting to see how Ryan Reynolds’ character messed up with time and the way Hugh Jackman will deal with it, fans have come up with an interesting theory.

If you have watched The Marvels movie, you know that after the fight with Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) gets sucked away into some other universe. She finds her mom, Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch), in a hospital bed, but her mother fails to recognise her. The camera then pans towards a manly voice, the character Beast, aka Hank McCoy, an X-Men character, played by Kelsey Grammer. So Monica is officially in the universe where X-Men reside.
Considering Wade Wilson is also in the same universe, what if he meets Monica and helps her return to the Sacred Timeline? A Reddit user shared this theory, which seems entirely plausible. The user asked this question, and many people have shared their views; some have agreed, and some have mentioned it might not be possible.
One person wrote that it would be the post-credit scene if it happened. Another shared, “I was wondering about this the other day, from what we know from the end of The Marvels she’s in a universe the X-Men exist in and from the brief clip of Beast we have to assume it’s the Fox Universe and Deadpool is supposedly having the destruction of the Fox Universe in the movie so who knows.”

There are few chances of Monica Rambeau being a part of the film. There’s so much we want to know about Deadpool and Wolverine. So why would makers complicate a fun story, considering Ryan’s character is finally entering the MCU? We will find out more only when the movie releases.
Meanwhile, Ryan has also worked as the co-writer of his first MCU film with Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Shawn. George Richmond did the cinematography, and Shane Reid worked as the editor. The film is slated to release in theatres on July 26, 2024.
