Singham Returns Box Office Capsule Collection: Released in 2014, the sequel to 2011’s success Singham had high hopes pinned on it. And just like everyone expected, the duo of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty set the cash registers ringing. But this time, not content but the sequel factor cruised the film over the 100 crore mark.

Thanks to Independence Day holiday, Singham Returns took an earth-shattering opening. It recorded 32.09 crores on opening day. After such a gigantic start, the collections dropped but the film remained good over the weekend and posted 77.69 crores. In the first week, the cop drama made 112.68 crores. Owing to not so encouraging word-of-mouth, Singham Returns didn’t put up a long theatrical run unlike its prequel but garnered a healthy sum of 141 crores.

The film also had Kareena Kapoor Khan playing an integral part.
