Currently standing at 93.90 crore* after two weeks, Shivaay is now less than 10 crore away from entering the 100 Crore Club. What has to be seen now is whether the milestone would be accomplished in the third week itself. It could have been pretty much happened if not for the demonetization drive, which is bound to impact footfalls in days to come. However, what works for the Ajay Devgn starrer is the fact that it has already covered a good distance and it is now a matter of time before the feat is accomplished.
This week, the film would continue to have good penetration in the single screens since no other film catering to that segment of the audience is currently in theaters. In the coming week though, Force 2 and Tum Bin 2 arrive, where especially the former would be catering to the large set of masses. However, there is good probability that Shivaay would have anyways accomplished the 100 crore score and even if that doesn’t happen, at maximum a crore or two more would remain to be gathered. That would eventually happen in the fourth week.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn now heads straight into Baadshaho and Golmaal 4. Considering the fact that former brings him together with Milan Luthria [Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Kachche Dhaage] and Rohit Shetty (together they have given countless successes), 2017 should be a very interesting year for Ajay Devgn.
