The malady of Hindi filmmakers and distributors seems to have taken the Bhojpuri brigade in its grip. Now, even Bhojpuri filmmakers and distributors have started releasing old films under new names. Several of them get new censor certificates issued for their films and then release them under the new name on the censor certificate.

Believe it or not, they don’t even change the title in the film. In other words, the censor certificate shows the new title whereas the film has the old title itself! Not too long ago, Dineshlal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ had lambasted his producers who had changed the titles of their old films starring him, and had released them, trying to pass them off as new ones. He had said, his fans were agitated and he owed it to his fans to not have them fooled.
