Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation Records 4th Highest Opening Weekend In India

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, the fifth installment of the MI series released last Friday and has recorded a phenomenal opening weekend in India. It collected $6.6 million i.e 42 crores thus making it highest opening for a Tom Cruise title in India and also the highest for Paramount pictures.

The film recorded the fourth highest opening weekend for a Hollywood film after Fast and Furious 7, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Jurassic World. It released in 1000 screens including languages Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Since the film comes from a strong franchise, it was expected to perform excellently.
