Lai Bhaari continued to perform well on its first Tuesday. The film collected, 1.50 crores on its fifth day. With this, the film now stands with a total collection of 14.20 crores at the domestic box office. This debut of Riteish Deshmukh in Marathi cinema was received quite well.

In spite of the heavy rains that hit Mumbai yesterday, the film received decent footfalls at multiplexes. A major highlight of the film was a scene with Salman Khan and also since the Salman even promoted the film quite impressively on his Twitter account, Lai Bhaari gathered more buzz. Produced by wife Genelia D’Souza, this film has marked a huge beginning for Riteish in Marathi cinema. This has been a impressive performance for any Marathi film so far.

Also with subtitles added in the film, the film opened up the arenas for non-Marathi speaking audiences too. The film is expected to have an excellent first week with collections ranging up to 16 crores.
