The magnum opus has been in the discussions for a long time and is now ready to entertain the audience. It features three popular stars from India’s three respective film industries, making it a topic of discussion. But will this strategy help it bag a strong day 1 collection at the Indian box office? The Tollywood mythological action drama is helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and written by Vishnu Manchu himself. It is produced by Vishnu’s father, Mohan Babu. While the official figure isn’t disclosed, it is learned that around 200 crores were spent on making this magnum opus, making it one of the most expensive Telugu films in recent times.
Ever since the project was announced, it has been in the news. Later, when the casting of cameo roles was unveiled, it immediately grabbed the attention. Kannappa features Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Mohanlal in special cameo roles, thus aiming to attract the audience of Bollywood, Tollywood, and Mollywood, respectively.
