After all the brouhaha that had surrounded the release of Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar for months in succession, the verdict is finally out. Both films have managed to survive at the box office and that has been good enough for two reasons. First and foremost it demonstrates once again that if audience catches fancy for a film, the clash – for all it’s repercussions – doesn’t kill chances of competition. Secondly, sky is the limit for a universally accepted film, considering the fact that neither of the two films has been any great shakes and has seen adverse reactions from different quarters.
