Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan bounced back at the Indian box office on Sunday. The political action thriller directed by H Vinoth has moved way past the 100 crore mark. How much did Jana Nayagan earn in its opening weekend?
There was unbelievable pre-release hype around Bobby Deol co-starrer, but it opened to highly polarised reviews on July 23, 2026. It had witnessed a drop of 50% after the opening day, but benefited from the Saturday boost. According to Sacnilk, Jana Nayagan collected 32 crore on day 4, across all languages. It witnessed another 10.72% growth on Sunday, although the collection was much lower than the opening day.
The cumulative total at the Indian box office stands at 124.75 crore net, including all three languages (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). It is made on a whopping budget of 300-350 crore. The stakes are high, so it remains crucial to pass the Monday test with flying colors. Including taxes, the gross earnings have reached 147.20 crore.
