Good Newwz: Enjoys Decent Screen Count But Is Lowest Amongst Akshay Kumar’s 2019’s Releases

Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani starrer Good Newwz has finally released today and is expected to open really well owing to its good pre-release buzz plus also the euphoria of Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 has very much settled down now.

While the eyes of trade experts and movie buffs are set on Good Newwz’s opening day, there’s a huge curiosity regarding its screen count. And here’s what, we have finally got to know about the number of screens, the movie has arrived on.

As per the trade estimates, Good Newwz has garnered itself a screen count of over 3100 in India and 650-750 in overseas market. Considering the fact that Dabangg 3 is just an week older in cinemas, the numbers are quite good but it’s overall the lowest amongst Akshay Kumar’s other releases of the year- Kesari, Mission Mangal and Housefull 4.

Kesari which was a Holi release arrived on around 3600 screens, while his Mission Mangal despite clashing with John Abraham’s Batla House, manage to amass a count of 3200. Akshay’s Diwali release Housefull 4 released on 3500 screens across the country.
