Compared to Avatar: The Way of Water, the film has clearly underperformed, but if we look at its numbers in isolation, it has performed well so far, especially considering the wave of Dhurandhar.

Speaking about the latest collection update, Avatar 3 earned 5.25 crores on the second Tuesday, day 12. Compared to day 11’s 5 crores, it witnessed some growth. Overall, it has earned 148.15 crore net at the Indian box office. It equals 180.5 crore gross, as per Sacnilk. Today, on day 13, it is likely to grow due to the New Year’s festivities.

Today, on day 13, it will cross 150 crores, thus becoming the first Hollywood film of the year to reach 150 crores. It is also likely to touch the 175 crore mark easily.
Meanwhile, it is also the highest-grossing Hollywood film of the year in India by a considerable margin. Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (106.9 crores) holds the second spot and is lagging by a big difference.
