Join UsAfter the success of Veere Di Wedding Sonam Kapoor has decided to let loose in London with hubby Anand Ahuja and Rhea Kapoor.
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja who had a terrific start in 2018 with PadMan, which was very well received at the box office, is now seen in her home production Veere Di Wedding, which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania.
Sonam’s character in the film is a lawyer, who is not getting married. She is a girl who comes from a simple middle-class family of a single mother.
The film is performing extremely well at the box office and is one of the very few female led films to garner such success. On this promising note, Sonam is planning a trip to London and will reportedly leave for the UK capital tonight.

This trip is also well timed with the actress’s upcoming 33rd birthday which is on 9th June. Sonam is all smiles as she says in an interview with DNA, “I’m going to be in London for work. So, Anand (Ahuja) is coming with me. My sister Rhea (Kapoor) will join us, too. It’s going to be a small celebration – we will go out for lunch, dinner and chill.”
Sonam also mentions in the interview about her newly done cozy, 3 bedroom property in London and how her friends Sehlaa Khan and Samyukta Nair will be accompanying her on this trip.
The Aisha actress has a busy year ahead and will be seen in films like Sanju, a biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and a film adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s book The Zoya Factor.
