SRK'S NASA Project From Swades Accomplished After A Decade

Swades(2004) film starring Shah Rukh Khan as a project manager at NASA may have not done well but the project that SRK was working while playing Mohan Bhargav found success at the NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). While we saw SRK discuss GPM in the film, little did we know that the project will find its manifestation years after.

NASA recently launched the Global Precipitation Measurement project that the film talked about 10 years back. Finding happiness in this news was the film’s director Ashutosh Gowariker.The director had researched well enough about the project and after submitting the film script was permitted to use it in the film by NASA. It was infact the first Indian film to be shot inside NASA, claimed sources. Though Gowarikar and Khan were both unavailable to comment on this, it must be a moment of joy that their film’s subject could finally become a reality finally!
