Monday morning suddenly turned into an eventful day for Mumbaikars after they faced a massive electricity failure. Power cut resulted in the halt of even the local train services and Monorail services in many parts of Mumbai. The BEST Electric Supply, on its official Twitter handle, informed that the power outage is due to the failure of TATA’s incoming electric supply. According to the authorities, the power outage began at 10:05 AM and was expected to be restored in 45 minutes.
