Madaari’s Strong Storyline Inspired Irrfan Khan To Produce The Film

Internationally acclaimed Indian actor Irrfan Khan has ventured into production with his upcoming film Madaari.

The Piku star wanted to be more involved in the film than just as an actor and he said that the strong storyline led him to produce the film.

“A strong two line idea drew me towards the subject that I wanted the film to be made. This led me from it only being a part of the film as an actor but also try and do much more as producer,” Irrfan said in a statement.

Directed by Nishikant Kamat, Madaari is inspired by true life events. Irrfan will also be seen playing the lead protagonist in the film.

Madaari at its heart is a father and son story, and delivers a very heart touching and sensitive concept. The movie is all set to release on June 10.
