If the graphic posters of Harshvardhan Kapoor’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero were not enough, the teaser of the film has only upped the whole intrigue quotient. In what can well be termed as a killer of a beginning, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is clearly coming across as a film which would diminish the line between hardcore commercial and realistically offbeat.
That is going to be quite a combination since time and again one wonders when would Bollywood come up with something that is truly different. Now that filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane has picked the mantle, all eyes are on how he would deliver to the fullest with Bhavesh Joshi Superhero which is an adventurous experiment in the making.
What makes it further special is the fact that Harshvardhan Kapoor is in the main lead. Since he isn’t really carrying an image of sorts with him, it is a clean slate beginning for him as he can take audiences on a roller coaster ride along with him. After playing the central protagonist in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya, it is an altogether different world that he is exploring in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.
Moreover, it is the simplistic look and feel of the film which should make the film as well as its central protagonist further special. Time and again one associates a set image with a vigilante superhero. You expect a certain costume which goes with a character like this but what one gets to see in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is just a masked Harshvardhan Kapoor.

Of course that by itself has resulted in a stunning impression already since the glittering red dots on the eye mask could well turn into a rage, especially after the release of the film. Over the years youth has shown that when it gets high on a particular concept, subject and a character, it accepts it in a whole hearted manner. This could well turn out to be the case for this masked protagonist as well.
The stage has been well set for this film which is backed by Eros, Phantom and Reliance. One now waits to see what does the team has in store when Bhavesh Joshi Superhero releases all over on 25th May.
