Gulshan Devaiah Is All Praises For Actress Turned Director Konkona Sensharma

The Hunterrr actor Gulshan Devaiah is all set to play one of the key character in the upcoming drama A Death In The Gunj. The film is directed by Konkona Sensharma.

In an exclusive interview with Koimoi, when asked about his experience working with actress-turned-director Konkona, he replied, “We got along really well, I didn’t know her very well before this movie, but I met her many times. But, I think I got to know her better when I started working on this movie, because she’s an actor. I think she also understands how an actor works, so it was really easy for her to direct us.”

Talking about the film plot he revealed, “The film is primarily in English, Hindi and Bengali. The story is set in 1978 to 1979. From Christmas 78 to New Year 79. A family comes from Kolkata and they go to this place. Its a family drama.”

He further expressed his feeling about working with A Death In The Gunj cast. Gulshan said, “It is the best cast I have ever worked with which has Om Puri, Tanuja, Tillotama Shome, Kalki Koechlin, Vikrant Massey, Ravir Shorey and the brilliant actor Jim Sarbh who played terrorist in Neerja.”

Gulshan will be next seen in Richa Chadha starrer Cabaret which is directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi.
