Did You Know: Laden, Slumdog, Horses & Maths!

In order to facilitate its release in Pakistan, the word ‘Laden’ has been dropped from the film title, Tere Bin Laden. The Pakistani distributors fear that the name of the terrorist in the title may cause protests in Pakistan, hampering the release of the film.

Dance instructor and choreographer Shiamak Davar will direct a film to be produced by Percept Picture Company. In all, the film will be titled A Slumdog Millionaire Goes Dancing.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s English film, Broken Horses will go on floors in September this year.

The life of renowned mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan will be brought to the big screen by director Rohit Jugraj who will make The Man Who Knew Infinity based on it.
