Kareena Kapoor Khan and Katrina Kaif are two names who have stayed distinctly distant from each other. In fact, their names have never cropped up together. However, probably all of this happened after their rumored and alleged cold war, where they threw unnecessary shades at each other.
Once upon a time, Bebo allegedly refused to present an award to Katrina Kaif, and the reason was very, very straightforward. She claimed that once upon a time, even Kat refused to present an award to Kareena.
Since then, the two beauties never crossed paths or mentioned each other till the time Kareena Kapoor Khan appeared on Koffee with Karan alongside her cousin brother Ranbir Kapoor, who, then, was dating Kat, and Kareena took the privilege of having a lot of subtle fun digs starting with wanting to dance to Chikni Chameli at Ranbir’s Sangeet and more!
But Katrina Kaif once tried to sugarcoat an instance where she wanted to allege that Bebo was too interfering in her life, even when they did not know each other that well! Say what? Well, that’s unbelievable since Kareena doesn’t seem to have time for anyone except her folks, but Katrina alleged in one of her early interviews with TOI that the Jaane Jaan actress used other people and mutual friends to get through her.
However, knowing how the Tiger actress is, she used the sweetest possible way to put this information on the table. Kat revealed, “Whenever I meet her (Kareena), there’s a great sense of warmth. I’m a very sensitive person; I can always feel that, and I can feel if a person is being fake or not.”
Elaborating further on her equation with Kareena Kapoor Khan, the Phone Booth actress said, “With Kareena, before we even used to interact much, she would always pass on advice to me through a mutual friend of ours that tells Katrina to be careful or this, tell her to do this, tell her not to do this; and really good advice, which she didn’t have to give me. She could’ve seen me doing some wrong and let me dig my own hole. It was really sweet of her to pass on these messages, so by the time I met her, there was already a mutual respect I had for her.”
Now, considering that Kareena and Katrina have never shared an affection for each other publicly or otherwise, this ‘once upon a time’ admission of affection was surprising and endearing if at all this wasn’t a subtle dig, since digs were a part of celeb interviews in those days!
On the work front, Katrina Kaif has Jee Le Zara on her cards, while Kareena Kapoor Khan has allegedly signed the Kannada film Toxic opposite Yash.
