Anushka Needed 3 Hours To Get In The Look For Bombay Velvet!

Anushka Sharma, who is playing a jazz singer in Bombay Velvet, had a separate call time on the sets from the rest. The reason being the look that the actress will be seen in, needed at least three hours for her to get ready. Her look is from the 50s.

A source informs, “Most of the film has been shot in Sri Lanka and if Ranbir’s call time was at 9 in the morning, for her it used to be 6 am. It would start with her fitting into the costume and having her trials. That would be followed by a hair sitting to get a look that fits into the character.”

The source informed that there were specifications to the makeup that Anurag Kashyap (director) needed, so that too was a time consuming process.

Coming to Anushka’s attire, designer Niharika Khan has designed almost 140 costumes for the actress in Bombay Velvet.
